Hi, I’m Kailey—the heart, soul, and camera behind Afterglow Photography. I started this journey in 2023 when I finally gave myself permission to chase the dream I’d been holding onto for years. Photography has always been my happy place, and turning it into a full-time passion project has been one of the most rewarding adventures of my life.

I’m based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and love working with clients across North Texas and beyond. Whether I’m capturing golden-hour love stories, proud senior moments, or the beautiful chaos of family life, I approach each session with heart, intention, and a whole lot of gratitude.

The name Afterglow comes from my love of that magical light just after the sun dips below the horizon—when everything feels a little softer, a little warmer, and completely unforgettable. That’s the feeling I try to bring into every image I create.

Since launching, I’ve had the joy of documenting weddings, senior portraits, maternity sessions, family memories, and everything in between. My goal is always the same: to make people feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated—and to give you photos that feel like home.
